Delivery information ....
We don't have a minimum order value except in December, but we do have a fixed next day postage charge of £7.95 to most of the mainland for one single item, or for many. Apart from small or very light orders we subsidise our postage charges to the tune of several thousand pounds a year and we do not charge for packaging materials. Please have a good look around our website and see if we can't tempt you further. After the first item ordered, any subsequent lines ordered are effectively post free. You can order now and delay the sending of your goods, because you set the despatch date at our checkout. We do not take payment until we pack your order just before despatch. We send out goods on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; in December we send out on Mondays too. |

We sell hundreds of our cheese wedding 'cakes' each year. We now offer a Christmas cake based on the same idea. We include in this cake cinnamon and berry decorations and a burgundy and gold festive ribbon. This is just one of our ideas to make a cheeseboard look stunning. For more inspiration look at our Wedding Cake section or the Customer Gallery there.The reason we have a lot of repeat businesss on our website is because we only use top quality products with fabulous flavours. In this cake we use a ring of first grade Stilton from an award-winning maker, half a mature Cheddar truckle from an excellent truckle maker, and a French Brie with a rich creamy flavour. The cake stand is not included in the price. Together with our next day delivery to most parts of the UK for a subsidised £7.95 we don't think we can be beaten on price for this quality.This cake is approximately 7kg so will feed seventy people on a single occasion or seventeen people in four sittings. The Stilton will freeze if you have any left. This cake is for sale at a fixed price of which works out at about £2 per head.You can order any time and when you get to the checkout, you choose the despatch date from a list of dates in December. You could have a 'cake' despatched from about 10th December in terms of 'use by' shelf life, although you will need to keep the cheeses refrigerated.
