CHRISTMAS 2002
Christmas 2002 already seems a very long time ago in fact, its only ten months till the run-up to Christmas 2003!
It was, as always, an excellent time for the on-line and Tetbury shops, and the period between Christmas and New Year was particularly busy. We were so exhausted that it has taken us until February to recover enough to write this article! (Actually, the truth is that we took our annual holiday in January and have only just returned from Asia, having once again transformed ourselves from zombies into human beings!)
Many thanks to all the people who helped to keep our business booming during the last year suppliers who generally reacted well to last-minute panic orders, friends who rallied round when they realised that socialising was put on hold while we worked eighteen hours a day, and of course customers who kept the orders coming and showed endless patience when faced with delivery delays by recalcitrant courier companies (more of this in separate article).
2003
looks as though it could be a rather gloomy year with predictions of war,
terrorism and economic downturns, not to mention the British weather
all
the more reason then to enjoy the good things of life and keep eating
plenty of cheese and biscuits!
