Delivery information ....
Our minimum order value is £20 (plus postage) - Fixed next-day delivery charge of £4.95 to most postcodes as we subsidise most of our despatch charges. Payment is not taken until we prepare your order just before despatch. We send out goods on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; in December we send out on Mondays too. To despatch the same day we need your order by 8am. We pay for a next-day delivery service but next-day delivery is not guaranteed.

Yorkshire Parkin Ginger Cake 420g

This seriously Good Yorkshire Parkin is baked to a 100 year old family recipe. The unique ginger cake is baked using flour, oatmeal, black treacle and syrup. The treacle in the recipe caramelises and hardens during baking, so before it leaves the bakery it is kept for a few days to allow it to "come again" - this is where the caramel softens giving each piece the perfect crumbly stickiness. This is a classic Yorkshire product quite unlike an ordinary ginger cake. Great packaging too - ideal for gifts. Award-winning.
