We have a subsidised next day postage charge of £7.95 to most mainland addresses. We always upgrade weddings and party cakes to be there by 12 noon. Remote areas will take longer. For a Saturday wedding please ask us to despatch the previous Wednesday when you get to our checkout, and for a Friday wedding please ask us to despatch on the previous Tuesday when you get to our checkout. This allows for courier mistakes - rare but possible. Please have a good look around our website and see if we can't tempt you further. After the first item ordered, any subsequent lines ordered are effectively post free. |

We also have a Customer Gallery Page.Please note that Northern Ireland and Isle of Man addresses will be a charged a £20 postal surcharge which will not show on your internet invoice, but which we will add before charging your credit card.WEDDING CAKES GALORE - Our wedding cake business is booming, so much so that we need you to give us at least a month's notice, preferably longer. We will take orders with less notice if we can, but it takes us time to get so much stock, in exactly the right condition, at the right time for your wedding. We always pride ourselves on only supplying great cheese, otherwise our wedding business wouldn't last!PRICE TURBULENCE - After years of stable prices (in fact, we have hardly increased our prices over the last three years) we may well see large rises during the next few months. There is a shortage of milk, a new demand for dried milk from the Chinese, a milk price increase, and several other factors which will affect the price of cheese, not just in Britain, but also in Europe and even beyond. Not just cheese prices will be affected, but also other food products. We will keep our prices as low as we can (we are very competitively priced compared to other cheese retailers and delicatessens) but we can already see some increases ahead and the bad weather this summer will only pile on more price pressure. We already have cake orders for next year and we always have dozens of orders 'in the pipeline'. Our prices remain those on the date of despatch, rather than on the date of order, but we will try to absorb as many increases as we can."We just wanted to email and say how absolutely thrilled we were with the cheese cake we ordered from you for our wedding. The cheeses were delivered as stated and they were in perfect condition. The cheeses looked fantastic and were the talk of the reception. Add any of the cheeses below to your shopping basket. Remember you can add other items such as a strong cheese knife, chutneys, pickles etc. from other parts of our shopping catalogue. When you have selected all the goods you require, go to our checkout and complete the other details we ask for. We will confirm receipt of your order by e-mail. Remember that all prices are approximate and we will make a final adjustment before we charge your credit card when we pack your order. The only item we will charge immediately is our £25 deposit. We do require advance notice for all our cakes, including these custom components.If you cannot find a particular cheese tier, but have already e-mailed us and know it is an item we can supply, please ask for this item in the 'other comments' box at the checkout and we will manually add it to your order.We would not advise using this section unless you have checked with us by e-mail first, to make sure the components you are considering would work together. We used to name all the cheeses we use but, due to other websites copying our ideas (sometimes getting a few things wrong and using unsuitable cheeses in the process), we have now coded all our custom cheeses. |
